Release 38 is coming with these new functions:

  • Support of WORD2007
  • Online documents are no longer sorted by Title but by Number, which must be numeric.
  • The widths of the RTO and DLO fields are smaller. 
  • May now specify a Responsibility on the Teams tab of the Systems folder. 
  • A default client can now be defined as an option.  All import records with no or an undefined client will be related to this default client. 
  • All EXP/IMP and BAK jobs now run as “silent”.  All messages are written into a Logfile. 
  • A Person can now be related to more than one Function. 
  • Added a relation between Process and Contract. 
  • Added a relation between Software and Software (as "Alt. Software"). 
  • Administrator may now specify Restricted Passwords Rules.  These rules determine the allowable structure for all users’ passwords. 
  • Copy function (duplicate) now works on multiple selected records. 
  • Allow RIB file to be specified to IMP.exe like REB file is to EXP.exe. 
  • EXP/IMP now accept -db (database name) and -user (username: password) command-line arguments.
  • Teams have been moved from Planning to General. 
  • Added a "Postbox" address to Companies. 
  • Added the Client attribute to Organizational Unit.
  • Added a relation between Systems and Staff/Functions.
  • Added relations between Systems and Locations.  The Locations of Systems are summarized. 
  • Added the Criticality option-field to Systems, Hardware, Software, Network, and Devices. 
  • Added the Report Merge Utility (RMU) tool. 
  • The default Reports (and Manuals, Templates) are now localized (German and English only). 
  • Importing relations will write names into the relation's ClassForm's module space if it exists; fallback to old way (the enclosing object's module space) if not.
