We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic software developer to join our development team. An ideal fit is someone who is comfortable switching gears on a regular basis from troubleshooting our C++ product to working on the development of our upcoming java-based web application. Should be comfortable with an entrepreneurial environment and have patience, persistence, and a sense of humor. Because our main office is not located in the Boston area (we are a satellite office in Cambridge, MA), this person needs have good team skills and be able to communicate effectively by email and telephone with non-native English speakers. 



THE WORK 

This person would engage in bug-hunting and enhancements to our C++ product. The product is a well-established windows application based on VC++ and MFC. This person would also participate in the development of our new, soon to be released java-based version of the product.



REQUIRED SKILLS

1-2 yrs experience with Java, Servlets, JavaScript, Wise Installer 



Familiarity with the following is helpful: Visual Studio, CVS or version control software, CSS, DHTML/HTML, experience with non-windows operating systems such as UNIX, Solaris, experience with some of these databases: Access, DB2, Interbase, Oracle, SQL Server, MYSQL.

We are a small, international company located in Germany and Cambridge, MA. Our product has been on the international market since 1987. We are currently expanding to the US market. Most of our customers are currently located in Europe and include international banks and many well-known companies.
